So as I was trying to think of a birthday present for the very sweet, talented and smexy , I had on the TV behind me "A Christmas Carol".
Got heavily into thinking about the ghosts presented in the movie. I then tried to tie that into one of our favorite things, Silent Hill.
I wanted to make a Ghost of The Otherworld. I chose present for you dear, since this was a Birthday present and I really like the chibi you made of shak with the bandages all over her. I reminded me somewhat of a replacement for ghostly chains. You have always been so good to me, good to everyone. A angel like you deserves all the happiness in the world. I hope you like this creation and even more hope you are having a fantastic day and hope tomorrow is even better for your birthday.
For background I had used a blacked out and close up version of 's lighthouse picture. It's so creepy and beautiful.
You are such a sweetheart Not only for taking the time to draw something so wonderful but for such a lovely artists note to boot. Is such a nice thing to wake up too. The Christmas Carol has really special vibes in my home so the fact it was your inspiration is actually something awesome. I really do love seeing things in a Silent Hill-esque theme and that is a very neat twist on this. The concept is boss though, the bandages do look something like chains. But she's still grinning away to herself and that is something I always love to see. The bandage on her eyes and the wound on her face really stand out. I like how it's mostly black and white so that the blood stands out more. Also makes it look as though her eye is glowing with mischief as well. Texture on the bandages really looks great as well.
It's fantastic and getting to see Shak like this totally made me smile
And thank you so much for the cake too Cannot be anything but an awesome day which such swell people around me
Oh my gosh this is why I love your drawn art just as much as your pixels! I love the concept behind this - the idea with the chains, and being a ghost of the Otherworld, wow, that is amazing. And, the expression - you always have the most expressive and detailed art that I've seen and it really jumps out at you here.
Love A Christmas Carol. It has one of those memorable stories. Glad you like it hun and appreciate the very lovely comment as always. Makes my day.
Oh, she's going to love this, I can feel it! It's lovely.
Oh I hope so. Last year I promised some for both my 21st dec. birthday friends and completely let the holidays crush me with things to do. I hate forgetting things but I was ready this year. I just like to make presents. Maybe sweet raine needs to list hers or leave me a note with her birthday so I can bug you with a weird strange bday gift too. mwahahhaha
I hate forgetting things too, especially since I don't have the greatest memory. I tend to forget things a lot.
My birthday will be on February 24th. I will probably end up creating something for you, as well, whenever I get the opportunity. You've done a lot for me and deserve a gift.
Yay, I'll need to write that down. And really it's np at all. I enjoy it and need nothing in return, other than of course the hugs and smiles and stuff. Those are always welcome. I just enjoy making things. I've been so fortunate this year to be able to spend more time on here than last year it seems. Always a good sign.
It's not really that I need to give you something in return. I just want to. You've been so nice to me that I think of you as one of my best friends, now. Your stuff always brings a smile to my face.
That is a very good point.
I worry alot. Worrier by nature.
And the same goes for you. And not only smiles but like that aww struck faces over those new creatures
Oh, don't worry, I'm quite a worrier, myself. I have anxiety issues that make a lot of everyday tasks difficult. I know how it feels, believe me on that one.
It makes me feel really special knowing that someone likes my art that much. Makes me feel like I have a purpose.
